Question by : Darn stray cat & 3 kittens?
My options are….call animal control, get on a 6-8 week waiting list, they will bring a cage and catch them one at a time and then, bottom line, kill them.

Or I can feed them and then I will have a boatload of antisocial cats hanging around my house in a few years.

Im not buying cage, catching all 4 of them and then giving the 3 kittens away and paying for the moms fixing and so forth.

Ive been trying to warm the mama up and I thought it might happen but now Im not so sure.

I had been leaving small amounts of food out trying to get her to come back more and maybe realize Im not going to hurt her or her babies but it doesn’t seem to be working.

And the last few days Ive been leaving more than she can eat.

Even bought a can of canned food for if she or one of the kittens ever let me pet them.

So what do I do ? Quit giving 4 cats food and water or ensure their death by calling animal control ?

Actually, I think mom is eating 95%+ of the food. She had the 2 smallest with her yesterday morning and I had 2 plates out there so they could all eat at once and the kittens kept trying to nurse.

After she eats, they go back in a wooded area behind my house. Although, they have, at times slept under this really shallow deck, 8 inches off the ground, in my backyard.

Why do these cats want to stay out in the woods rather than stay close to their food & water ? Honestly, their only chance at survival. If I soften up and decide to take on the financial responsibility of 4 freaking cats that cant live inside because Im allergic. I can tell you right now, that’s not going to happen if I cant even pet them.

Don’t tell me about unconditional love. I don’t unconditionally love all animals. Im not taking on financial responsibility for all kinds of animals who dont even like me.

You can rent a trap…
but don’t take her to the shelter they will just kill her.
Do you have a garage that you can put her in or a shead.?

Put up a sign for someone to take them in (foster them)
She might be Feral so she is wild …
the kittens will be too.

YOU MUST AT LEAST TRAP THEM and have them spayed or instead of 4 cats you will have 12! So as soon as the kittens are eating trap her and take her to the vet and have her spayed.
you will have to wait for the kittens to get older though.

I can’t believe you are being so close-minded about this! Sure, a lot of breatharians have proven to be hoaxers, but perhaps this man is getting nutrition from a secret government ray that is being tested by the military.

It’s well established that breatharians are more likely to occur near top secret UK army bases (if you filter out the hoax breatharians). Furthermore, in recent years, armies have openly demonstrated food-based technology like the US MRE program, which only makes my “food ray” hypothesis more likely.

A highly respected government lab in France has done some tests on this man’s hair, and found nodes! Nodes! Do you realise the implications?

What’s more, this research has been replicated by other top labs (Cal Tech, Nobel Institute University of Science, Oxon University etc.) so you can’t simply dismiss the weight of evidence. Plus, I have personally interviewed a top physicist who witnessed an unexplained ray and then didn’t feel hungry for over ten hours.

Don’t get me wrong, I welcome respectful inquiry into the exact nature of this man’s amazing powers. But what I don’t welcome is name-calling, or any suggestion that he might not have amazing powers. That is beyond the realm of reasonable debate.

It’s fascinating that certain “forbidden” topics, dismissed in academia, are also dismissed in cyberspace!

wanting to go hiking next year, i live in the UK so i am only interested in laws in the uk, obviously an axe will be a vital survival tool for chopping wood up to make fires to keep warm ect, but what is the law on carrying an axe. thanks

I’m in the US, and there are no laws on that here. i think it would be stupid to have a law regualting that, so i would venture to say it would be safe to carry.

Ok so my Aunty had a work emergency and wants me to take care of her ‘precious’ little spoiled rotten sh*tful miniature poodle. Sure, THIS dog needs caring for, don’t worry about her 4 OTHER DOGS that she just LEAVES IN THE YARD while she has this emergency.

So she gives me a list of instructions. I put her food in his bowl and put in on the floor, he doesn’t budge. So I make a cup of tea and go on the comp for a bit, come back and he STILL hasn’t eaten. So I go to take the bowl away and he GROWLS and BARKS at me when he wasn’t even in the kitchen?! He wasn’t even eating it!?

So I just leave it there. Then he gets on my couch and every time my cat tries to jump on the couch (where he usually sleeps) he growls at him!!

This is one spoiled little rat!!! How can I look after him for 2.5 days!?? If my cat has ONE scratch I SWEAR he is gonna be shut in my yard with a bowl of food and I will just leave him there for the remainder of the 2 days.

Ok as you can tell I am not a dog person per se. I get along fine with her other dogs, like her gorgeous male pointer and her labrador (that she neglects!!) but this little thing is FED AT THE TABLE at her house and SLEEPS ON HER BED and is INSIDE all the time!!

I want minimal contact with this thing for 2 days, how do I deal with this?

(I know I’m ranting like a 12 year old, I’m 19, my mum is also on holidays, I’m just home alone)
No no no no the dog is at MY house, her other dogs are at HER house, and she is just LEAVING them there for the 2 days? How is she not a bad owner??

take an aspirin. she’s fine. i used to get a ton of blisters everwhere when i forgot to wear sock which happened a lot.

Think as it happened..

Do you really think those who stay behind have a chance of survival against the big bad guy?

think about all the elements against you if you stayed:

Computers, satellite targeting, thermal vision, tracking devices (Cellphone, etc), civilian anti- religious mobs, army and military equipment, trained K-9s, sonar, Voice ID, detectives, Facial identification, Fliers, NO FOOD, NO WATER, NO BUYING, plagues, flu and sickness, no medicines, wild animals, reptiles, and insects, etc.

Nature will most likely be deteriorating and easily will be a “Day after tomorrow” meets “I am Legend” scenario…

Put in thought that a human can only last about 1 week without food and water and you will most likely be alone.

Really you think ANYONE has a chance of surviving until the next chapter?

By the way all those weapons i mentioned are very real.. pick up a military and science today magazine before speaking please..

Now I get where both sides have their views, but one side confuses me. If this bill is so great like everyone makes it out to be, why isn’t Congress themselves going to use it…? It’s because they know it sucks! Everyone keeps telling me that we get to help the poor people get health care! And while i myself like to help poor people, do you not realize that with universal healthcare comes sacrifice? We will not be able to go to the doctor at our leisure when we are feeling sick anymore.. we will have to wait probablly months before we are seen. Canadians come here with cancer because they know we have great doctors.. after this all our doctors are going to quit! And healthcare is not a right, its a privilege. If you can buy food.. you can afford healthcare. If you can pay your rent.. you can afford health care. Lets face it people. We are all screwed in the end. I read a story about an illegal immigrant who came into an emergency room the day the healthcare plan passed demanding procedures.. which is funny to me because guess what buddy that’s not the way it works, and your not even a citizen of the United States so it doesn’t apply to you.. but let me hear your responses i dont mean it cruelly, but i am curious! Let me hear your opinions! P.S. sorry if I offended anyone, I really don’t wish to fight over yahoo although.

See that’s just it. They’re changing things, so healthcare IS a right, and not just a privelege, mainly for the wealthy.

You clearly are not very well informed with what’s going on in medicine. I work with several doctors (I’m an Emergency RN) and NONE of them would even consider working in the US, because the high rates of people suing health care providers down there. I haven’t heard of people “flocking” to the US for cancer treatments either.

In any case, making healthcare manditory and accessible will increase the demand for people like me so I’m happy as my job is secure.

I think this is a big step forward for the US, although I think they perhaps should have adopted other healthcare models ie from France.
