Question by : VERY hot summer VERY cold winter…?
Does this mean that we are in for a stormy spring? We live in Central Illinois just on the cusp on tornado alley and it seems to me that this last summer was brutally hot and this winter was very cold and we even had a blizzard that lasted 2 days! I know that we cannot predict what’s to come but if there are some people out there that have had experience living in the central part of the US and have had hot summers and cold winters and bad springs your input would put me at ease…just want to make sure that I have all my ducks in a row before it gets bad out
We have 2 emergency supply kits in the basement and we have food, water, medical supplies, blankets and other items to last us at least 5 days…just in case so we ARE prepared just want to know what to expect. Thank you all!!

It’s too early to determine whether the fronts will collide to produce a stormy spring. Keep an eye on the jet stream over the next few weeks and listen to what the weather networks are saying.
What do you think? Answer below!
